Kittie Louise Jennett Suffield is the author of this beautiful hymn, “Little Is Much When God Is in It”. She wrote this hymn in 1924.
In one of Jesus Christ most famous miracles, he multiplied five barley loaves and two small fish to feed five thousand men plus women and children who were not counted.
I would not be surprised if the total number that were fed that day were in the region of at least ten thousand people.
This is simply a mind-boggling miracle. These people not only ate but also failed to finish the food available such that in the end there were twelve basketfuls of leftovers!
With this miracle God wanted to show us that nothing is impossible with him. If we have God on our side nothing is impossible.
It is a miracle that shows us that God is able to use the little we have and accomplish a lot with it.
We just need to put our trust in God and make available the little we have, and he will be able to reap a big harvest for His kingdom.

Kittie Louise Jennett Suffield was born on 16th September 1884 in New York City in the United States of America.
Her husband, Fred Suffield was an evangelist and minister of the gospel. Together they travelled around the United States preaching word of God.
She helped in these meetings through her music ministry. She spiced up the preaching of the word with her singing.
She wrote many other hymns, but Little Is Much When God Is in It is her most famous composition.
She passed away in 1972.
