“God Is Working His Purpose Out” is a hymn that was written in 1894 by Arthur C. Ainger. This hymn is a dedication to the then Archbishop of Canterbury, Edward W Benson. It was written for use by boys at Eton College where Ainger worked as a schoolmaster at the time.
It is a hymn that let us know that God is in control and even though we might not feel or think like it.
