Fanny Crosby Hymns

Fanny Crosby (1820 – 1915), an American, is one of the most prolific hymn writers in the history of Christian hymns. She is reported to have composed more than eight thousand hymns during her life on earth.

Dozens of her songs are still sung today in various Christian denominations. She was blind and became blind due to a mistake by a medical doctor when she was just a toddler.

She, however, looked at her misfortune in a positive light as it helped her to memorize significant scripture passages and have time for composing hymns.

Below are some of her hymns:

Fanny Crosby Hymns

Safe in the Arms of Jesus,

Rescue the Perishing,

Blessed Assurance,

The Bright Forever,

Savior, More Than Life to Me,

Pass Me Not, O Gentle Savior.

He Hideth My Soul

To God Be the Glory

Jesus Keep Me Near the Cross

All the Way My Savior Leads Me

Tell Me the Story of Jesus

Draw Me Nearer

Some Day the Silver Cord Will Break
